Hi avid newsletter readers! We're excited to share some of our thoughts and experiences about our classroom so far this year.
Getting Comfortable in Our Classroom
- OV: I am getting used to my classroom and I am getting more comfortable when I learn.
- MM: I was shy on my first day, but now I feel better because I have made new friends (AG, MB).
- AS: At the beginning of the year, I felt nervous because I didn’t know anyone. Now, I feel the opposite.
- OD: At the beginning of the year, I was feeling shy, and now I feel happy.
- AGT: At the beginning of the year, I felt happy and now I still feel happy.
- WM: One thing that has made me feel comfortable in class is my new and old friends.
- BP: At the start of the year, I was feeling nervous but I made a new friend. AC is my new best friend.
Surprising Discoveries
- LC: Something that surprised me about the class is the amount of joking and laughing.
- OW: Something that surprised me about this class is how fun the maths game Prodigy is. I have a pet called ‘Snow Fluff’.
What We Love About School ❤️
- CR: The thing I love to do at school is writing a story. ✍️
- EH: One thing I really enjoy about my classroom is learning on the laptops.
- KG: A subject I have found interesting is HASS. It is so fun role-playing parliament.
- AR: By the end of the year, I hope to go on an excursion.
- CG: By the end of the year, I hope to have a class party.
Setting Goals & Challenges
- JW: The goal I have for the next few weeks is to get on ‘Outstanding’ lots.
- JH: A goal I have for the next few weeks is to get my name pulled out of the reward raffle box on a Friday.
- EC: By the end of the term, I hope to go to a pizza party by getting RRRIC tickets.
- MB: Something I found difficult was writing and now I find it easier because I have been practicing a lot. ✏️
Our Favourite Activities
- CP: Hi, whoever is reading this! I want to learn more about dividing and my favourite class activity is Prodigy. ➗
- CD: A new friend I have made is EH and we like to play handball together.
Looking Ahead
- ED: I try every day to make learning fun and to inspire my students to do their best. ✨
