Assistant Principal's Message - Rebecca Gardner
Can you believe we’re half way through Term 1? Time is flying, and it’s fantastic to see our students settling into routines, making new friendships and embracing their learning experiences.
There’s been so much happening around the school, from engaging classroom activities to events and there’s plenty more to look forward to in the coming weeks. A big thank you to our staff and families for your ongoing support in making our school a positive and welcoming place for all.
Our older students recently represented our school in an interschool competition, showing great teamwork, sportsmanship and determination. We’re so proud of their efforts and can’t wait for more opportunities like this throughout the year. Thank you to Mr Lonergan for organising this event and the staff who attended to support our students.
Our Year 3 and Year 5 students are sitting NAPLAN this week and next week, and we’re proud of their effort and focus. We encourage them to do their best and approach the assessments with confidence! Our students NAPLAN results will provide us with insights into how our students are tracking, helping us see where they’re improving, where extra support might be needed and their areas of excellence. This helps us to inform our teaching to support every student in the best way possible.
A big thank you to all the parents who attended our recent assembly. It was a great opportunity to celebrate our new student leaders as they received their badges. We look forward to the positive changes these leaders bring to our school community
Our Colour Splatacular is just a few weeks away on March 28, so keep up the awesome fundraising! Who knows… I might even get slimed!
Thank you for your continued support! Let’s keep up the great work, stay positive and finish the term strong. Looking forward to everything we’ll accomplish together in the coming weeks!
