NO E-SCOOTERS PERMITTED AT SCHOOL

If you own an e-scooter, you can only ride it on private property. You can’t ride it on roads, footpaths or other public spaces. If you're caught riding an unapproved e-scooter, you may be fined for driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle.
To ensure student safety:
E-scooters are not permitted for travel to or from school by students or staff.
E-scooters must not be stored on school grounds due to fire risk.
Riders must:
• Wear a helmet (mandatory for under 17s)
• Follow all road rules (Bicycle safety | NT.GOV.AU)
If a student brings an e-scooter to school, it will be securely stored and their parent or carer will be contacted to arrange its collection.

In the Northern Territory (NT), helmet laws require that:

It is recommended to wear helmets for better safety, especially in the NT, where road safety is a concern.
